More and more, you see news reports about the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact. We’re advised to stay home and maintain social distancing. In these times, digital banking is the right approach for managing your accounts.
For remote access, online and mobile banking are secure and easy-to-use. They provide 24/7 access from your mobile device or desktop computer. Best of all, you can bank all from the convenience and security of your home.
To help you get started, here are four easy steps for using digital banking.
4 Easy Steps to Help You Use Digital Banking
• Enroll in online banking and mobile banking.
Manage your accounts with fast access to account balances. Move money easily from account to account or to other banks. You can also make scheduled bill payments and deposit checks remotely. It’s convenient, secure and free.
• Sign up for digital wallet for your debit card.
Add your bank debit card to the digital wallet in your smartphone. Once you do, you can make fast, secure purchases whenever you need.
• Enroll in direct deposit.
You can avoid the challenges of picking up a paycheck. Ask your employer if you can set up direct deposit. Once you do, your pay checks will deposit directly into your checking account.
• Sign up for monthly eStatements.
By signing up for e-statements, you’ll get faster access to monthly account statements. Maintain statement archives for at least one year. Most of all, you’ll reduce paper and avoid having to open the mail.
